Zhou Zhi Yong is a Chinese director and screenwriter born in Jinan, Shandong Province, China. He graduated from the Drama and Literature Department of the Central Academy of Drama.
In 2006, he began his screenwriting career as the writer of the feature film "Crazy Stone", which won him the Best Original Screenplay Award at the 43rd Taiwan Film Golden Horse Awards.
In 2009, he was nominated for Best Original Screenplay at the 46th Taiwan Film Golden Horse Awards for the comedy "Crazy Racer".
In 2011, he directed his first feature film, "Fishing for Big Fish".
