Omori Sumio is a Japanese screenwriter, director, and film director from Kanagawa, Japan.
He began his theater activities in his teens, founding the theater company "Jikahatsuden," where he handled writing and directing. In 1997, he made his debut as a screenwriter with the original video "New Quiet Don."
He made his directorial debut in the film "The Winds of God Blow" released in October 2009.
