Sato Shimako is a Japanese film director and screenwriter. Her husband is the film director Takashi Yamazaki . In 1992, she made his directorial debut in the movie “Tale of a Vampire” and won the Aboriaz Grand Prize at the Tokyo International Fantastic Film Festival.
