Ding Yangguo, a martial arts student who studied at the Taipei Academy of Chinese Opera for eight years, when his senior brother Zhang Xiaozheng took him to the film crew as a stand-in martial arts. Later, he played roles in many martial arts films, acting as an actor while learning to be a director from his master. In 1998, he came to Shanghai alone and filmed his first modern drama "The Old House Has Joy". By coincidence, he started to try comedy again, directing "Shuangjiao" and "Di Renjie".
