Hwang Jo Yoon is a South Korean screenwriter. Notably, he won The Grand Bell Award for Best Screen Play in 2012 for his work on the multi-award winning period piece "Masquerade" (Gwanghae: Wangyidoen Namja). "Masquerade" also garnered him a Blue Dragon Awards nomination for Best Screen Play in 2012. In 2006, he won Best Adapted Screen Play at the Italian Online Movie Awards for his adaptation of "Old Boy" (Oldeuboi)(2003). He was nominated at the Chlotrudis Awards for "Old Boy" int he category of Best Adapted Screenplay.
