Voraluk Klasukon

Description:

Voraluk Klasukon, nicknamed Ballroom, started to pursue a career in writing after graduating from California State University, Los Angeles with a Master of Arts in Communication Studies (Telecommunications and Film Option). Klasukon had worked as a television producer, a writer of travel magazines, a scriptwriter of several T.V. shows, and a screenwriter.

Her first movie, “First Love” (also known as “Crazy Little Thing called Love” and “A Little Thing Called Love”), which she worked as a main writer, was an immediate success in Thailand and Asia in 2010. After that Klasukon became a full-time screenwriter and continued to work on several projects, for example, My Best Bodyguard (2010), 30+Single on Sales (2011) and The Melody (2012). Since 2011, She have taught screenwriting as well as film-related courses at the Department of Film and Digital Media at Dhurakij Pundit University, Bangkok, Thailand.

Currently, Klasukon is a second year PhD student in Communication Studies at Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication, Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand. Her interests revolve around film industry and communication studies.
