Description:

Nash Ang is a film director, cinematographer and also a performer. As an actor, he appeared on numerous Korean dramas and movies such as Cheoyong, Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter, The Running Mates: Human Rights and Arthdal Chronicles, where he represented Southeast Asians to another level by integrating native Filipino languages as part of the script of the main actors.

As a social advocate, he founded OBRAA in United States to advocate social inclusion of minorities with Asian heritage though cultural awareness.

As a Film Director, he won the grand prize on the ASEAN-Korea Multimedia Competition 2010 which was held in South Korea for his first film. He was also awarded the Best Director, the 13th Pyongyang International Film Festival at Pyongyang, North Korea. Because of his persistence in upholding Filipino artistic excellence in the International Film Scene, he is one of awardee of the 2011 and 2016 “Ani ng Dangal” for Cinema grantee in the Philippines.
