Ishikawa Kitaji is a Japanese director and screenwriter.
Originally from Kanagawa Prefecture, he graduated from Waseda University. Filming since his college years, he won several awards during his studies at the university and then started in the business thanks to the recommendations of Yaguchi Shinobu. Working primarily for television (dramas, documentaries, broadcasts), he also directed the film Lovely Complex.
