Kongdej Jaturanrasamee, nicknamed Lek, is a Thai singer, songwriter, screenwriter, and film director. He studied Mass Communication (with specialty in Film and Video) from the University of Lat Krabang. After graduating in Mass Communication (specializing in Film and Video) from the University of Lat Krabang he ended up teaching at Assumption University.

In 2002 he directed his first film, Sayew, which received a special mention at the Seattle Film Festival. With Where We Belong, she tries to show the lives of many young girls in Thailand, for whom friends, family, commitments, dreams and love become shackles that oppress them and let them be what they want to be. He has twin daughters who were born in 2004.
