Wang Bin is a Chinese drama and film director, producer, and screenwriter born in the Shandong Province. After working as a book salesman, librarian, and later a Literary researcher and editor, he began to write novels in the 80s. In the 90s he began to work first as a film story consultant for Zhang Yi Mou, and later as co-writer of some of his movies, as well as several TV series.
