Naoto Kumazawa is a Japanese film director and screenwriter from Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. Graduated from Seijo University. While studying at Seijo University he was selected for the Shueisha BJ Image Award, and was exhibited at the Yu -bird International Fantastic Film Festival in the off-theater division.
After graduating from college, he joined Pony Canyon. In addition to engaging in the production of movies such as "Swallowtail" and "Ring", he continued to produce independent films, and in 1994 won the Pia Film Festival Award for "Rewaruru."
In 1999 he left the company. Afterwards, he directed music videos and OVs, and in 2004 he received the Porto International Film Festival Best Director Award for a short film omnibus "TOKYO NOIR TOKYO NOWAR - Birthday ~" (his own original script).
