Jang Hang Joon, born in Daegu, is a director and screenwriter of film and television. He is a graduate of Seoul Institute of the Arts.
In 1998, Hang Joon married "Signal" screenwriter Kim Eun Hee. Together, they have a daughter named Jang Yeon-soo.
