Kim Yong Kyoon is South Korean director. He graduated from the Hanyang University Department of Theater and Film. He worked as a cinematographer for the feature film "Mother, Your Son" (1991) and made his directorial debut with the first feature, "Wanee and Junha" (2001). Subsequently, he directed films like "The Red Shoes" (2005), "The Sword with No Name" (2009), "Killer Toon" (2013), and "Tastes of Horror" (2023). "Picnic" is his fifth feature film.
