(Government official) Shaun Donovan has had a distinguished career in government and housing. He served as the United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development from 2009 to 2014, followed by Director of the US Office of Management and Budget from 2014 to 2017. Prior to these roles, he was the Commissioner of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development from 2004 to 2009. In 2020, he filed paperwork to run for Mayor of New York City, and in 2023, he became President and CEO of Enterprise Community Partners, a housing non-profit organization.
