Garry Alan Monk, an English football manager and former professional player, began his career as a centre back with Torquay United before transferring to Southampton. He went on to play for Swansea City across all four professional football divisions, predominantly as captain. Following his retirement as a player, Monk moved into coaching and has managed various clubs such as Swansea City, Leeds United, Middlesbrough, Birmingham City, Sheffield Wednesday, and is currently at Cambridge United in EFL League One.
