Description:
(German Aviator and Military Personnel) Robert Ritter von Greim was a highly regarded German military officer who achieved the rank of Generalfeldmarschall (Field Marshal) during World War II. He was a flying ace in World War I and was chosen by Adolf Hitler to lead the Luftwaffe after Hermann Göring's removal near the war's end. Greim was the final person to be promoted to field marshal in the German armed forces. Sadly, he died by suicide while in Allied custody following the surrender of Nazi Germany.
