Bobi Ladawa Mobutu, also known as Mama Bobi Ladawa, was involved in promoting health, education, and women's rights during her professional life. She was recognized for her advocacy work in these areas and was commonly referred to as "Citizen Bobi" or "Mama Bobi". Additionally, she frequently accompanied her husband, President Mobutu, on international trips. However, reports suggest that she was also involved in corruption during Mobutu's rule. Following Mobutu's overthrow, she continued her philanthropic efforts by establishing the "Mobutu Foundation" with her son, Nzanga.
