Description:
(Preacher) Hugh Peter was an English preacher, political advisor, and soldier who supported the Parliamentary cause during the English Civil War. Known for his flamboyant preaching style that advanced the Puritan cause, he emigrated to America and later returned to England to become a key ally of Oliver Cromwell.
