As Wavy Gravy, he integrates a clown persona into his political activism and entertainment work, serving as the official clown of the Grateful Dead. He has hosted radio shows on Sirius Satellite Radio and was featured in the documentary "Saint Misbehavin': The Wavy Gravy Movie." Wavy Gravy received the Kate Wolf Memorial Award in 1992.
