(Baseball player) Don Mattingly is a retired professional baseball player, coach, and manager in Major League Baseball (MLB). He played his entire 14-year career with the New York Yankees, where he received various accolades such as All-Star selections, Gold Glove and Silver Slugger Awards, an AL batting title, and the 1985 AL MVP. Mattingly went on to manage the Los Angeles Dodgers and Miami Marlins, finding success with both teams. He is currently the bench coach for the Toronto Blue Jays.
