Jeffrey Michael Fisher is an American professional football coach and former player who had a 22-season career as a head coach in the NFL. He played college football at the University of Southern California before being drafted by the Chicago Bears in 1981. Fisher won a Super Bowl ring as a player in 1985. He coached the Houston / Tennessee Oilers / Titans franchise from 1994 to 2010 and the St. Louis / Los Angeles Rams from 2012 to 2016, with his most successful season being in 1999 when he led the Titans to their first Super Bowl appearance. Despite a winning record, Fisher's coaching career has been criticized for its lack of overall success.
