Description: (American Professional Basketball Coach and Former Player)

Tyronn Lue or Ty Lue is an American basketball coach and a former professional player. He has been part of the NBA circuit for 11 seasons and played for 7 different teams in 554 career games. Lue showed promise as a basketball player from a very young age. Apart from raw talent, he was also a very dedicated player practising more than most kids of his age. He also displayed natural leadership qualities which made for excellent coaching material in his later life. Tyronn Lue was one of the star players of his University team of ‘Nebraska Cornhuskers’. Following his junior season at the University, he declared himself for the NBA draft. Lue’s career as an NBA player lasted for over a decade and he was part of two NBA winning teams. After he retired as a player, Lue took up coaching. In a very short span, he proved his coaching mettle and was made the head coach. Though there have been criticisms of his coaching style and it has been said that he is indisciplined and unprepared when it comes to coaching, his efforts seem to have borne fruit. Under his coaching, the ‘Cleveland Cavaliers’ team won their first NBA championship. Tyronn Lue is currently the assistant coach of the ‘Los Angeles Clippers’.
