A.B. Frost was a prominent American illustrator, graphic artist, painter, and comics writer known for his dynamic illustrations of characters from Joel Chandler Harris' Uncle Remus books. His work is praised for its vivid depiction of motion, particularly in hunting, shooting, and golfing scenes. Frost illustrated over 90 books, created many paintings, and played a significant role in the early development of comic strips. He was posthumously inducted into the Society of Illustrators' Hall of Fame in 1985.
