(Historian, Biographer) Garry Wills, a distinguished American author, journalist, political philosopher, and historian, is renowned for his extensive knowledge in American history, politics, and religion, with a focus on the Catholic Church. In 1993, he was honored with a Pulitzer Prize for General Non-Fiction. Wills has a prolific career that spans over five decades, during which he has authored more than fifty books and has been a regular contributor to The New York Review of Books since 1973. He also served as a faculty member in the history department at Northwestern University, where he currently holds the title of Emeritus Professor of History.
