Amelia Bullmore is an English actor, playwright, and screenwriter, best known for starring in various British drama series, such as ‘Ashes to Ashes’ and ‘Scott & Bailey.’ Born and raised in London, she grew up in an upper-middle-class family. Her father worked as an advertising professional, while her mother worked as a writer. Following her high-school graduation, she joined ‘Manchester University’ to study drama. She began her career with theatrical plays such as ‘The Threepenny Opera’ and ‘The Red Balloon.’ She was noticed by a casting agent during one of her theater performances. The agent helped her kick-start her screen acting career. She ended up making her full-fledged acting debut with the soap opera titled ‘Coronation Street.’ Following this, she appeared in series such as ‘Faith,’ ‘Frontiers,’ and ‘Big Train.’ She has also written a few critically acclaimed series, such as ‘This Life’ and ‘Scott & Bailey.’ In the latter, she played a supporting role (‘DCI Gill Murray’). More recently, she has been seen playing supporting roles in series such as ‘Deep State’ and ‘Gentleman Jack.’
