Sarah Ruhl is a highly acclaimed American playwright, poet, professor, and essayist known for her notable works such as Eurydice, The Clean House, and In the Next Room. She has received prestigious awards including a MacArthur Fellowship and the PEN/Laura Pels International Foundation for Theater Award. Ruhl's plays have been Pulitzer Prize finalists, and she has been nominated for a Tony Award.
