Soren Hunter Miles S Thompson is a highly accomplished American épée fencer with a remarkable career. He is a two-time Olympian, having represented the United States in the 2004 Athens Olympics and the 2012 London Olympics. Thompson's achievements include reaching the quarterfinals in Athens, which was the best US result in the event since 1956 at that time. He also secured a gold medal and world championship in the team épée event at the 2012 World Fencing Championships. Thanks to his success, Thompson has been inducted into the USA Fencing Hall of Fame and the Southern California Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.
