David Enrique "Quique" Bernier Rivera is a Puerto Rican dentist and politician with extensive experience in public service roles in Puerto Rico. He has held positions such as executive director of the Office of Youth Affairs, Secretary of Sports and Recreation, and Secretary of State. Bernier is associated with the Popular Democratic Party in Puerto Rico and the Democratic Party in the United States. He is recognized for his athletic accomplishments as a member of the Puerto Rican national fencing team, competing in international events on behalf of the island.
