(French Politician and Fencer) Laura Flessel-Colovic is a well-known French politician and épée fencer. She has won a total of five Olympic medals, making her the most decorated French sportswoman in Olympic history. Flessel-Colovic represented the Levallois Sporting Club Escrime before moving to Lagardère Paris Racing. She also held the position of Minister of Sports in the Philippe Government from May 2017 to September 2018. In a significant moment, she led the French team as the flag-bearer at the 2012 Summer Olympics opening ceremony in London, which was her fifth and final Olympic appearance.
