Jimmie Johnson is an American race-car driver who currently competes for ‘Hendrick Motorsports.’ He became the first driver to win the 'National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) Cup Series' five times, consecutively, from 2006 to 2010. After winning in 2013 and 2016, he became the third driver to become a seven-time champion. He has been named the “Driver of the Year” by 'Martini & Rossi' for the highest number of times to date. Thanks to his 83 race wins throughout his career to date, he ranks sixth on the all-time list. He has the credit of achieving 222 top-five finishes. He became the first driver to be named the “Associated Press Male Athlete of the Year” in 2009. Among the active ‘NASCAR’ drivers, he has the most wins at the ‘Dover,’ ‘Charlotte,’ ‘Texas,’ ‘Auto Club,’ ‘Las Vegas,’ and ‘Kansas’ tracks. He also has nine wins at the ‘Martinsville Speedway.’
