(American Snowboarder and Olympic Medalist) Shannon Dunn-Downing is a highly accomplished American snowboarder and Olympic medalist. She made history by winning a bronze medal in the halfpipe event at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, becoming the first American woman to do so in snowboarding. Throughout her career, she further displayed her skills by finishing 5th at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
