(Snowboarder) Marco Siffredi was a renowned French snowboarder and mountaineer who achieved fame for his daring descents on some of the world's highest peaks. In 2001, he made history as the first person to snowboard down Mount Everest via the challenging Norton Couloir route. Siffredi's passion for extreme sports and mountaineering inspired him to attempt another descent on Everest in 2002, this time through the perilous Hornbein Couloir. Unfortunately, he went missing during this expedition, and his body was never found, leaving behind a legacy of bravery and adventure in the mountaineering community.
