Bob Gainey enjoyed a successful professional ice hockey career with the Montreal Canadiens, where he played for 16 seasons. Following his retirement, he moved into coaching and executive positions with the Minnesota North Stars/Dallas Stars. Gainey later became the general manager of the Montreal Canadiens. He currently serves as a team consultant for the St. Louis Blues and a volunteer senior advisor for the Peterborough Petes. Gainey is a highly respected figure in the hockey world, having been inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame and recognized as one of the '100 Greatest NHL Players' in history.
