Gregory Foster was a highly accomplished American hurdler renowned for his outstanding track and field achievements. Throughout his career, he attained numerous prestigious titles, including three consecutive 110 meters hurdles championships at the IAAF World Championships, as well as NCAA championships and U.S. national titles. Foster also established world indoor records, held the American record in the 110 meters hurdles, and consistently ranked among the top hurdlers worldwide. Despite overcoming challenges such as a suspension and health issues, Foster later contributed to the sport as a coach before his passing in 2023.
