(Skateboarder) João Kabeção, a Brazilian skateboarder, gained popularity in the 1980s and early 1990s for his exceptional skateboarding skills, particularly at the Urquinha mini-track in Rio de Janeiro. His remarkable achievements include winning a stage of the professional Brazilian Skate Circuit as an amateur skateboarder in 1989, a first-time feat. This win earned him recognition in SKT News magazine, the release of his own pro-model skateboard, and an invitation to the prestigious 1990 Itaú Skate Cup event. Following a successful career in skateboarding, he transitioned to becoming a jiu-jitsu teacher.
