(Baseball Outfielder, Manager) Frank Robinson was a highly accomplished American professional baseball outfielder and manager in Major League Baseball (MLB). Over 21 seasons, he played for five teams and was the first Black manager in big-league history. Robinson is the only player to win Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards in both the National League (NL) and the American League (AL). As a 14-time All-Star, he excelled in batting, home runs, slugging, and runs scored. Elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982, Robinson later managed several MLB teams and concluded his career as the honorary president of the American League.
