(Japanese Former Long-Distance Runner) Toshihiko Seko is a renowned former long-distance runner from Japan, excelling in marathons during the 1980s. He represented Japan at the 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympics. Seko achieved notable victories in marathons such as the Fukuoka Marathon, Boston Marathon, London Marathon, and Chicago Marathon. He set world records in the 25,000m and 30,000m events in 1981. Seko later became a coach at the S & B Foods Track Team, a member of the Tokyo 2016 Olympics Advisory Panel, and served on the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Board of Education.
