Peter Ebdon is a retired English professional snooker player who now works as a coach. Throughout his career, he secured nine ranking titles and two Triple Crown titles, which include the 2002 World Snooker Championship and the 2006 UK Championship. Ebdon entered the professional snooker scene in the 1991-92 season and maintained a position in the world's top 16 rankings until 2009-10, achieving a career-best ranking of third. He competed in the Crucible 24 times, making it to three World Championship finals before retiring in 2019-20 due to chronic neck and spinal issues. Ebdon is recognized for his methodical and famously slow playing style, having scored 377 century breaks in professional matches.
