Vladimir Yumin

Vladimir Sergeyevich Yumin had a distinguished career in Russian freestyle wrestling that spanned over a decade. He achieved notable milestones, including an Olympic gold medal in 1976, multiple world titles in the 1970s, and European championships in the mid-1970s. Yumin also won numerous Soviet titles during his wrestling career. After retiring from competitive wrestling, he became a successful coach for the Turkish national team. In 2009, he was honored with induction into the International Wrestling Hall of Fame for his accomplishments.
