Carol Huynh

Carol Huynh is a retired Canadian freestyle wrestler who made history by becoming the first gold medalist for Canada in women's wrestling at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She has also achieved success at the world championships with one silver and three bronze medals. Huynh is a two-time Pan American Games champion and 2010 Commonwealth Games champion. After retiring from competition, she transitioned to coaching and has held various leadership roles within the wrestling community, including being elected to the United World Wrestling Hall of Fame and serving as Chair of the United World Wrestling Athletes Commission.
