Jordan Burroughs is a highly successful American wrestler with outstanding accomplishments in both freestyle and folkstyle wrestling. He is an Olympic gold medalist and has won six world championships and three Pan American Games gold medals in freestyle wrestling. Burroughs holds the American record for the most Olympic and World Championships and is recognized as one of the greatest freestyle wrestlers in history. In folkstyle wrestling, he is a two-time NCAA Division I National champion and was honored with the Dan Hodge Trophy in 2011.
