Gillian Gilks MBE, a renowned English former badminton player, is celebrated for her exceptional skills and numerous major titles in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. Her graceful style and precise technique have led to a record-breaking 12 European Badminton Championships and 11 All England Open Championships titles. In 1976, she made history by winning all three events at the All Englands in a single year. Gilks also boasts Olympic medals and was honored with induction into the World Badminton Hall of Fame in 1999.
