(Australian Retired Field Hockey Forward) Liane Marianne Tooth is a retired field hockey forward with a remarkable career. She achieved Olympic gold twice with the Australian Women's Hockey Team and holds the distinction of being the first female hockey player to compete in four Olympic Games. Since 1994, she has been dedicated to expanding sporting opportunities for girls and women. Her contributions include working for the Active Women unit of the WA Department of Sport and Recreation and serving as an Officiating and Coaching Consultant. In recognition of her achievements, Liane was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 1996 and had the honor of being a flag-bearer at the 2000 Summer Olympics.
