Stephen John Davies is a highly successful Australian hockey player who has represented his country in three consecutive Summer Olympic Games. Over his 10-year tenure with the Australia national hockey team, he played in 274 matches and won a silver medal and two bronze medals at the Olympic Games. In recognition of his outstanding achievements in the sport, Davies was inducted into the Hockey NSW Hall of Fame in November 2009, securing his place in Australian hockey history.
