Debbie Meyer

Debbie Meyer is an accomplished American swimmer, having earned three Olympic gold medals and setting world records in four events. She made history by being the first swimmer to win three individual gold medals in a single Olympics. Meyer also achieved world records in several freestyle swimming events at the U.S. Olympic trials. Throughout her career, she broke many world and American records, won numerous national championships, and received prestigious awards. Meyer retired from competitive swimming in 1972 and went on to establish the successful Debbie Meyer Swim School in Carmichael, California.
