Matthew Nicholas Biondi is an accomplished American swimmer and water polo player. He has won a total of eleven Olympic medals and held world records in various events. His achievements include setting records in the 50-meter freestyle and 100-meter freestyle events. Notably, at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, he secured five gold medals and set records in the 50-meter freestyle and three relay races.
