(Italian Road Racing Cyclist) Gino Bartali, also known as Gino the Pious and Ginettaccio in Italy, was a champion road cyclist. He achieved significant success, winning the Giro d'Italia in 1936, 1937, and 1946, as well as the Tour de France in 1938 and 1948. His victory in the 1948 Tour de France set a record for the largest gap between wins in the race. Bartali was posthumously honored for aiding Jews during the war and recognized as a "Righteous Among the Nations" in 2013.
