Michael Stich, a retired professional tennis player from Germany, had a successful career in the 1990s. He won the men's singles title at Wimbledon in 1991 and the men's doubles titles at Wimbledon and the Olympic Games in 1992. Stich was also a finalist at the US Open in 1994 and the French Open in 1996. He achieved a total of 18 singles titles and ten doubles titles during his career and reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 2 in 1993.
