Yevgeny Kafelnikov

Yevgeny Aleksandrovich Kafelnikov is a retired Russian tennis player who reached the world No. 1 ranking during his career. He won two Grand Slam singles titles - the 1996 French Open and the 1999 Australian Open. Kafelnikov also earned a gold medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. His accomplishments extend to four Grand Slam doubles titles, and he is the most recent player to have won both the singles and doubles titles at the same Grand Slam tournament. Kafelnikov was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2019.
