Brooke Valentine is an American singer, model, and actor. She is best known as a former member of the girl band ‘Best Kept Secret.’ Her debut solo album, ‘Chain Letter,’ too, brought her fame. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she discovered her love for music accidentally when she was in fifth grade. She kept practicing it through her high-school years and eventually joined the girl group ‘Best Kept Secret.’ In 2004, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a solo music career. She was immediately offered a contract by ‘Virgin Records.’ She soon released her debut album, ‘Chain Letter’. The album received immense critical acclaim, and several singles from the album topped the music charts. She then started working on her second album, ‘Physical Education,’ which was released in 2009 in the form of a mixtape. Meanwhile, Brooke took a break from her solo projects and entered into collaborations with several artists. In 2014, she was to appear on ‘VH1’s hit reality show ‘Love & Hip Hop.’ However, her appearance did not make it to the final cut. In 2017, it was confirmed that she would appear in the new season of ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.’
